Let’s get to know each other

My name is Summer Eaton-Velasco, and I am the owner and main photographer at Summer Eaton Photography LLC. I collect exotic plants, I’m a cat mom to five, and I’m obsessed with all things fairytale. The ultimate combination of fairytale and photography? Weddings, couples, and their happily ever afters. I work alongside my husband Jon, who is an ordained minister and my go-to second shooter.

I’ve always been passionate about photography and started out taking photos of the cats in my neighborhood back when I was in high school. Like most hobbies, when I graduated and went into my first “big girl” job I let the passion die because I just didn’t have the time. Then the 2020 pandemic hit, and I suddenly had all the time in the world. The passion was reignited, and once the lockdowns lifted my journey began.

I took on a second shooting opportunity for a wedding about six months into the photography game, I fell in love with the coordinated chaos of weddings. Every wedding, every couple is unique, and I get to capture that for them. I get to document their love stories.

Now I shoot weddings, couples, and milestones throughout the state of Texas, and beyond. After all, what’s a fairytale without a bit of adventure?

I offer my clients a unique blend of timeless images, as well as ethereal fairytale vibes. It’s time to start romanticizing your life! Through the use of both digital and film images I make sure your moments look like they came straight from a story book.

I’m not just here for “picture perfect” romance. I am here to capture the raw, authentic love between partners. I’m here for the dreamy fairytales, the hard to define love stories. I’m here for the Happily Ever After and the future after the I Do’s. I’m here for you.
